We filmed the project at the end of last summer, immersing ourselves in the heart of each community to get an authentic view of the clubs’ outreach. The film weaved together real-life stories and powerful imagery, offering a glimpse into the clubs’ daily efforts, from grassroots initiatives to more specialised support for those facing challenges. The result was a film that celebrated the unwavering commitment of the EFL clubs to make a difference, showing the human side of football and the genuine impact it has on people’s lives. It’s been a privilege to share these inspiring stories, meeting remarkable individuals along the way, and providing a platform for the often unseen work that happens off the pitch.
